Traditional Pies

They were born in Greece and their history goes back more than 3.000 years.

Pies had dough made of flour, olive oil, water and salt while for filling they used ingredients that are in abundance in our country such as spinach, leek, kafkalithres (hart wort), various aromatic herbs, feta etc.

The result was a tasty, hearty and quick meal with no need to reheat that people could take in the field or in the mountains. that people would take with them to the fields or the mountains.
